The second friendly of the season and Legacy would need to start finding some momentum ready for the League kick off. With less players available a more settled line up would be in place for the 90 minutes and in VB League opponents Sawston Villa there would be a tough test.

Legacy kicked off and started with some good football down the left, with Cherry Hinton new boy Simon Garner and Carlos Griffin linking well. Despite this inside the first 5 minutes Legacy found themselves vulnerable to a long ball, a cross from the left was scrambled home and Legacy found themselves 1-0 down.

Villa did not keep the lead for long and with Prince Murandu causing their left back all sorts of problems, his right wing cross fell to Marvin Beckett who only needed to get a touch to steer it home. This seemed to be the theme of the half with Chesterton going behind again and pegging Villa back. By half time the score was 3-3, a humid morning was starting to take its toll.

The second half was played out without much football of note, Sawston scored two goals late on but with the result unimportant and some good football played there was no need to get downhearted. Legacy have one final pre-season friendly at Abbey United Sunday's Coleridge ground next week, then a league 5 a side tournament to round up the preparations.
